THE EVENING'S OVER!
my goodness, i thought the guy was 60, turns out he was 70!!! name was paul drayson, and by the looks of the celebration he was extremely, extremely, beyond rich. picture this: a vast ballroom, clad with a devastatingly gorgeous chandelier, baloons yellow and whie strewn overhead and on the mavable parque dancefloor, thirty-odd tables seating 10, each person getting a personal bottle of wine, and a small box with finest godiva chocolate. a buffet to DIE for, LOVELY champagne and red wine that was rather tasty.
so you can imagine, it was rather intimidating. and it's been a while since i was last able to perform, so i was quite happy that friday night.

btw, if you have time on monday, make a point to go to the thai fair at the thai embassy (orchard, can't miss it unless youre blind and deaf) it is the epitome of shopping in thailand, bargaining, GORGEOUS chicken wings, clothes, accesories, coconuts, EVERYTHING! go if you have the time!
