haha, i was just thinking aobut my church choir retreat to malacca, and one of the funniest things had happened. we were having dinner in an open-air restaurant famous for it's signature chilli crab (and I, crab connoisseur extrodinaire, was not disappointed) and we were talking and laughing when this stray dog ventured near our table, and afew of us squealed in alarm, and afew of the boys tensed up, and nicholas, this brave, brave boy of 14, said-
"wah lao, you all so scared for what? it's just a dog what!"
he gets up, follows the dog, tries to pet it and sings "hello, doggie!"
BOWWOWOWOWOW RAAAAWRGH
nicholas pauses for a split second, jumps about a foot in the air, screams until the malaccan straits start to vibrate in response (imagine the response of you droping a cockroach on your little sister's lap. yes, that's it) and sprints towards the table we were sitting at. a half hour later our chilli crab had come and i was still in tears. and i STILL giggle at the memoory.
have i blogged about this before?
haha, if i have, sorry, dilligent readers. it was just a happy memory.
alright, here's something i want EVERYBODY who read this to do (and BE HONEST)-
5 simple things that make me happy:
- funny memories that make me smile to myself and look like a right idiot on the bus
- good friends :)
- naughty toddlers
- dinner with relatives
- plucking out my leg hair.
prelims and O levels are coming, and although this is abit old-songish, i think remembering simple things that make us happy in life mkaes things a teenzy bit easier.
agreed?
adios, muchachos. my next blog entry will come wednesday night, after social studies.
